Mongoose R1825 Review: I would not recommend buying any Mongoose product, sight unseen, period. This is one of two different Mongoose bikes, purchased as a Christmas gifts, with both having the same issues. The bike arrived in the factory box, as Amazon indicates. Apparently, Mongoose has a rather amateurish concept of how to box anything so the contents don't shift around in transit, in this case, resulting in several scratches and paint chips in the brand new bike.
